Mary Whipple, PhD, RN

Minneapolis, Minnesota

Dr. Mary Whipple is an Assistant Professor at the University of Minnesota School of Nursing and a Registered Nurse. She received her PhD in Nursing and Gerontology from the University of Minnesota in 2019 and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in the School of Medicine at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in 2021. Dr. Whipple's research focuses on the cardiovascular effects of sedentary behavior and physical activity, with a particular focus on older adults with type 2 diabetes and peripheral artery disease.
