Chelsea A. Dorsey, MD

Dr. Dorsey (@MdDorsey) is an Associate Professor of Surgery in the Section of Vascular Surgery at the University of Chicago and serves as the Vice Chair of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Department of Surgery. In keeping with her medical education interests, she was recently appointed Associate Dean for Medical Student Academic Advising and Advancement at the Pritzker School of Medicine (her alma mater). Outside of a busy clinical practice, she also currently sits on a number of regional and national committees focused on surgical education and serves on the SVS Communications and Appointments Committee. In January of this year, she was formally appointed Chair of the newly formed SVS Young Surgeons Section.
