Dr. Han serves as a Co-director of Comprehensive Aortic Center at Keck Hospital of University of Southern California. He holds the title of Assistant Professor of Surgery in the Division of Vascular Surgery and Endovascular Therapy, Keck School of Medicine of USC.
Dr. Han completed his undergraduate education at the University of California, Irvine, where he graduated with magna cum laude honors in 2000. He obtained his M.D. from the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine. He completed general surgery training at University of Southern California in 2012. During residency, he also obtained a master's degree in biomedical engineering at the Viterbi School of Engineering at USC. Dr. Han went on to complete vascular surgery fellowship training at the University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Han obtained additional dedicated training in complex aortic repairs at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN.
Since joining USC as faculty in 2014, Dr. Han has been instrumental in advancing the Aortic Center at Keck Medical Center of USC as one of the most robust programs in the country for care of patients with aortic emergencies and complex aortic pathologies. In addition to maintaining one of the busiest clinical practices at USC, Dr. Han has focused research efforts on complex endovascular aortic repairs, as well as aortic remodeling following TEVAR for aortic dissections.
