Dr. Yassa is the Section Chief of Vascular Surgery at Spectrum Health Frederik and Lena Meijer Heart Center in Grand Rapids, MI and is the co-creator of the Multidisciplinary Aortic Center. She serves as the Associate Program Director for the Spectrum Health/Michigan State University Vascular Surgery Integrated Residency and Fellowship programs.
She specializes in Advanced Open and Endovascular Aortic Surgery for aneurysm and dissection related pathology, Open and Endovascular management of Peripheral Vascular Disease and Critical limb ischemia, Carotid disease, Mesenteric and Renal vascular disease.
She is an advocate for intentional development of leadership skills in men and women in all stages of their careers.
