Sidney Le, MD, is a Delivery Science and Clinical Informatics Fellow at the Kaiser Permanente Northern California Division of Research. His current research focuses on clinical informatics, machine learning, and health services research to improve the quality and safety of surgical care. His prior research included health policy, hospital and emergency department quality measures, and pharmacoepidemiology. He is mentored by Dr. Vincent Liu and Dr. Gabriel Escobar.
Dr. Le received his medical degree at the University of California, San Francisco and earned his bachelor’s degree in economics at Stanford University. He is currently a general surgery resident at the University of California, San Francisco East Bay general surgery residency program.
