Dr. Bertges is Associate Professor of Surgery and Medicine at the University of Vermont Medical Center. He acts as chair of the Vascular Quality Initiative Peripheral Vascular Intervention Registry. Clinical research interests inlude advancing the national system for peripheral arterial device evaluationt through the Registry Assessment of Peripheral Devices (RAPID). He serves as co-chair of RAPID, a public private partnership bewteen registries, industry and regulatory agencies. He is program director for the University of Vermont Medical Center Fellowship Program.
