Hello everyone, my name is Jinseo Kim, a rising junior attending Boston College. I am studying biology alongside medical humanities and I've been involved in Dr. Windsor Ting's vascular research group at Ichan School of Medicine since the summer of 2021. I assisted in analyzing patients to create the clinical database used to draft various research topics based on the topic of the iliofemoral vein stents procedure. I was tasked to investigate the relationship between obesity and iliofemoral vein stent outcomes where I had the opportunity to draft my own abstract and work on my manuscript. I am excited to share our findings in this year's meeting and moving forward, I will explore the patients that were considered outliers of this study that were observed to have either extreme ends of the BMI spectrum.
