Sara L. Zettervall MD, MPH is a board-certified surgeon at University of Washington Medical Center and an Assistant Professor of Surgery at University of Washington School of Medicine. She completed her general surgery training at George Washington University in Washington, DC followed by fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. In addition, Dr. Zettervall completed a 2-year research fellowship at Harvard as part of the National Institute of Health Harvard-Longwood T32 Program. Her current research focuses on the evolving technology and treatment of aortic disease. She is a sub-investigator in 2 physician sponsored investigational device exemption trials utilizing physician modified endografts as well as branched and fenestrated endografts for the treatment of juxtarenal and thoracoabdominal aneurysms.
