Sean Lyden, MD, is the Chairman of Vascular Surgery in the Sydell and Arnold Miller Family Heart & Vascular Institute at Cleveland Clinic. He has interests in abdominal aortic aneurysms, carotid artery disease, and lower-extremity endovascular treatments.
He is a professor of surgery in the Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University. He is the Chief Medical Officer for Excelerate Strategic Health Sourcing. A joint venture between the Cleveland Clinic and Vizient that transforms group purchasing with a unique, outcomes-based approach to sourcing. Dr. Lyden is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and has been recognized as a Distinguished Fellow of the Society for Vascular Surgery.
