VH06 - Emergent Open Repair of a Symptomatic Type III Thoracoabdominal Aneurysm

Summary: This is a case of an emergent open repair of a Type III thoracoabdominal aortic aneurysm performed for a symptomatic inflammatory aneurysm with impending rupture. 4-vessel visceral reconstruction, bilateral iliac bypasses, and intercostal reimplantation were performed. The patient did well and was discharged home on post-operative day 22.
